Rodene Thinks: She Knows Where The Wild Things Are.
On her plate.
Parents used to say, "don't play with your food," but I say, its okay if its creative. If your child played with their food and created the bento box in the above photo with their rice and vegetables, don't trip. Anyway, that has to be one of my current favorite bento creations, of the film "Where The Wild Things Are." I can't wait to see it, and suggest you should too. http://wherethewildthingsare.warnerbros.com/
Happy Eating, and please, go 'head and play with your food, see what you come up with.
Peace & Love,

Rodene Thinks: Its Better Not To Be A Trashy Something On Halloween.
My sister and I love Halloween, and love to be dressed up, DRESSED for the occasion. Its rough trying to find appropriate clothing for females, because everything is always the "trashy" version of everything. Luckily, my sister had pretty gowns for us to cover up in. This is a photo of the end result of what started off to be a gory face I came over with, but was told it looked more like a nasty bloody beard. My sis put stitches on me, giving me AND her the whole Nightmare Before Christmas Doll Theme...ish.
The second photo is one from the same night mentioned above, and another from another year. On THAT year I was able to get away with my home made nasty rotting chewed up yes I made it myself from scratch neck. Maybe for Christmas I can be a gory elf.

Rodene Thinks: The Window Phone Is Kinda Fresh.
I don't like to throw out a couple "Benjamins" on new phones, BUT, I would actually consider throwing a couple on this Seunghan Song"s design. I mean, its so plain & simple, yet BADAS* at the same time. Anyway, when the time comes, when this quiet new beast hits the market, I'll have ben ready n' waiting...him n' some friends.

Rodene Thinks: Sleek Bike Riding Can Be Yours.
The Jruiter Studio has created the "Inner City Bike." So if you're worried about NOT looking cool biking through town, DON'T. Plus, if someone makes fun of you, just pull out the gun purse, (see previous post below, Prada Gat Bag.)
See for yourself holmes.

Rodene Thinks: Send Out A Warning.
I don't do big brand, fancy names, not really, BUT this "Prada" GAT bag would be an exception. Its more protective gear than fashion.

The Village Idiot
Meet Dean the owner of The Village Idiot on Melrose. He was kind enough to let us use his space for a casting call + brunch. Wonderful experience, wonderful staff, amazing food.
I recommend the pan roasted maitake mushrooms, creme fraiche, grilled ciabatta also the chorizo stuffed bacon wrapped dates, roasted pepper tomato sauce is excellent.
The sandwiches are delicious - try the pub burger or the smoked pork roast.
